…. can be a pain!
I spent most of last night trying to create this panorama:
A five-image panorama, taken in RAW format and converted straight to JPEG, the merged file was larger than 450Mb. Then the fun began!
I wanted to straighten the image and remove the vertical distortion which had happened as a result of using a 50mm lens at close range. Photoshop crashed repeatedly, so eventually I gave that up as a bad job and used a free download called Autostitch.
This programme can sometimes over shrink the resulting file – something you think is going to be around 10Mb ends up as being 400kb so the settings do need to be adjusted.
In this case, the five images merged together ended up as a file of 3Mb.
I wonder if it was worth it?
