I was asked to shoot a charity fashion evening for WHASP – to help keep the Woodford Halse Academy Swimming Pool open. I was a little nervous, not having shot “fashion” before but really enjoyed it. Amazing outfits, fantastic lighting and the hall at the school looked absolutely beautiful. The first shot is of the models in the dressing room before the show began.
And there was a free glass of proscecco on arrival, as well as a raffle ticket for either a “girl’s night in” or “girl’s night out”.
The show was presented by Jackie, of Rock Those Frocks, which sells sells gorgeous quality women’s boutique clothing pretty and vintage vibe PLUS great value new pieces from Italy, France and UK and is based in Towcester. And at the end of the evening, every guest was handed a goodie bag with gifts and vouchers for local businesses (including mine, of course!)
This is a selection of images from the evening: if you would like to see the full set then please do contact me for details. All images are available for sale: a 6×4 print will cost £7, with £2 being donated to WHASP.
Hopefully a lot of money has been raised to keep this useful facility for the school and village open for a long time to come!
