I think everyone was worried whether the weather was going to win today after a day of sunshine, dark clouds and heavy showers but after the last storm at 5pm the skies cleared once again in time for the annual Summer Regatta at Woodford Halse.
Of course the usual team won, but whilst the teams were running round the village it gave the audience time to browse the many stalls, visit the beer tent or one of the food stalls (the queue for Marriotts sausage rolls and burgers was fairly long all night) or visit the photographic exhibition in the Memorial Hall.
A few pics from the night, I’ll probably put the rest on my Facebook page at a later date.
