The Mummers Play

The Mummers Play takes place every year in a local pub, The Royal Oak. The first performance takes place inside the pub. As can be seen, the bar is very small! This is followed by a performance outside, and then by Morris dancing by our local mixed team, the Royal Oak Morris.

The characters in this shot are (from left to right): Old Bighead, Beelzebub (the Devil) and this year played as Michael Caine; the drunken Doctor and Old Molly.
